From May 28th to 29th, 2027, the Center for Financial Development and Stability (CFDS) at Henan University and the International Network for Economic Research (INFER) will organize their 10th annual Workshop on Applied Macroeconomics hosted by Henan University. As always, we invite papers from all fields of applied macroeconomics.

The conference organizers, in liaison with the editors of Economic Modelling, will invite the authors of selected high-quality papers that fall within the general remit of the journal, to submit their manuscript to the journal. The editors will ensure that the selected papers undergo the normal reviewing process on a fast-track basis. All papers will be double-blind refereed in the standard way. Authors should submit their paper via the journal's website, for consideration for publication in a regular issue of the journal.

The conference venue is Henan University's Jinming campus in Kaifeng. Jinming campus is located about 15 minutes away from Kaifeng North Train Station and SongChengLu Train Station. The nearest airport is Xinzheng Airport (CGO) in Zhengzhou (driving distance: 80 km).

Please arrange your arrival on May 27th for registration and welcoming, we will schedule presentations all day on May 28th and 29th, in addition we offer an optional post-conference field trip on May 30th (details tbd).

The conference fee is RMB 1000, which must be paid during registration. It includes lunch and formal dinners on May 28th and 29th.
